PRODUCT CARE
· First burn — Allow the wax to reach a full melt pool on the first burn (2–3 hours). This prevents tunneling and preserves the shape of the piece.
· Wick trimming — Trim the wick to ¼ inch (6 mm) before every burn. A trimmed wick produces a steady flame and prevents excess soot.
· Extinguishing — Always use a snuffer. Never blow out the flame — it disturbs the wax and compromises the scent.
· Burn sessions — Maximum 2–4 hours per session. Allow at least 2 hours of rest between burns.
· Storage — Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and fluorescent light.
· When to stop — Retire the candle when ½ inch (1.2 cm) of wax remains.
Safety: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets. Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Discontinue use if the vessel cracks or the flame becomes unusually large.
· Bulb — E27 base. Edison-style filament bulbs (2200–2700K) produce the warmest projection. Smart bulbs allow color customization.
· Shadow positioning — Optimal distance: 20–35 cm from the surface. Height determines where the skull projects at eye level.
· Cleaning — Unplug before cleaning. Use a soft dry cloth or compressed air. Wipe metal components with a barely-damp cloth.
· Cable care — Never run the cable under carpets or pinch it between surfaces — trapped cords overheat. Keep fully uncoiled. Do not modify. Discontinue if damage appears.
· Shadow quality — Clear or lightly frosted bulbs produce the clearest silhouette. Edison-style filament is the reference standard.
Safety: Avoid leaving the lamp on for extended periods with incandescent bulbs. Always unplug before maintenance. Keep away from water.
· Installation height — Mount at 57–60 inches from the floor for natural eye-level presence.
· Cleaning — Use a soft, dry brush. Do not use water or liquid cleaners.
· Environment — Avoid direct sunlight and humidity. Do not expose to temperatures above 85°F (30°C).
· Arrangement — Space pieces 3–4 inches apart for a gallery feel, or 6–8 inches for an aerial composition. Odd numbers create more dynamic arrangements.
